I am an editor and filmmaker who picked up a camera in 2002 to shoot and edit short art features for my university TV station. Since that time I have shot lo-fi footage for art projects and worked occasionally as camera and editor on short features and a feature documentary.
In 2012 I decided to commit myself to editing and film once again, firstly by working as video editor at the Institute of Art and Ideas, and then taking up a Leonardo funded film production placement which took me to Ireland.
I spent the summer of 2013 working at Hello Camera Productions and OFFline Film Festival in Birr, Co.Offaly, as camera operator, sound recordist, editor and event coordinator. This led me to Galway Film Fleadh, and as a result – and a collective love of garlic – I ended up as assistant editor on a documentary with ikandi Productions in Galway.
I’ve also worked as 3rd AD for Still Films on their recent short feature, ‘The Participants’ which recently screened at GAZE.
Currently, I am supporting Far Off Sounds, based in LA and Detroit, with their unique music experiences documentary series.
